Jiangsu Aogu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Liyang, Jiangsu Province. The company primarily engages in the research and development of bioenzyme preparations and the bioenzymatic production of functional sugars, which serve as food ingredients or additives to replace white sugar in low-sugar and sugar-free foods and beverages. It also utilizes synthetic biotechnology to produce feed-grade amino acids, pharmaceutical-grade amino acids, nucleotides, and other products for use as pharmaceutical raw materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, nutritional supplements, and animal nutrition products. Currently, the company operates five major production bases in Liyang, Jiangsu, and Songyuan, Jilin, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 metric tons of trehalose and blended sweeteners, 20,000 metric tons of complex sugars, 8,000 metric tons of β-cyclodextrin, 10,000 metric tons of polydextrose, 20,000 metric tons of feed-grade amino acids, 300 metric tons of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), glutathione, and gamma-aminobutyric acid, and 1,500 metric tons of pharmaceutical-grade amino acids.
