At the signing ceremony, Liang Qingmin, Vice Chairman of the Jiamusi Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Secretary of the Fujin Municipal Party Committee, signed a contract on behalf of the Fujin Municipal Government with Jiangsu OGO Biotechnology Co., Ltd. for a 500,000-ton trehalose and 500,000-ton compound sugar industrial park project. The project is planned to have a total investment of RMB 2 billion and will be developed in three phases. The first phase involves the construction of a new 200,000-ton-per-year trehalose and compound sugar production facility, with an estimated investment of RMB 300 million and scheduled to commence construction in May 2024. The successful signing of this project marks a further expansion and extension of our city’s agricultural industry chain, as well as a leap-forward development in achieving industrial cluster effects and strengthening industrial support.
Going forward, our city will adopt more targeted measures and a more pragmatic approach to continuously optimize the business environment, refine working mechanisms, and proactively deliver front-line services. We will make every effort to create a supportive policy environment, high-quality service environment, and inclusive development environment for enterprises, helping them overcome challenges, strengthen their core capabilities, and boost their vitality, thereby fully unleashing their endogenous growth drivers and innovative dynamism. At the same time, we will leverage the Expo as a platform to comprehensively showcase Fujin’s positive image, highlight its distinctive strengths and development potential, and attract more entrepreneurs to invest and start businesses in Fujin, jointly pursuing shared development. This will inject new momentum into the extension and supplementation of industrial chains and help write a new chapter in Fujin’s high-quality development.
