Centralized Signing of Key Projects in the Economic Development Zone

To thoroughly implement the spirit of the city-wide meeting on project commencement and investment promotion, and to ensure that projects are signed, constructed, and put into operation at the earliest possible stage, the Economic Development Zone held a centralized signing ceremony on May 11 for five sub-projects under Cargill’s Version 1.0, all focused on the biochemical industry. The total investment in these projects amounts to RMB 1 billion, and upon reaching full production capacity, they are expected to generate an output value of RMB 2.75 billion.

To thoroughly implement the spirit of the city-wide meeting on project commencement and investment promotion, and to ensure that projects are signed, constructed, and put into operation at an early stage, the Economic Development Zone held a centralized signing ceremony on May 11 for five sub-projects under Cargill’s Version 1.0, all focused on the biochemical industry. The total investment in these projects amounts to RMB 1 billion, and upon reaching full production capacity, they are expected to generate an output value of RMB 2.75 billion.

The five projects signed in this centralized ceremony—namely, the 50,000-ton trehalose capacity expansion, the 20,000-ton high-purity maltose production expansion, the 100-ton nicotinamide mononucleotide capacity expansion, the 100,000-ton amino acid product line, and the 20,000-ton pharmaceutical-grade amino acid facility—are a vivid demonstration of the Economic Development Zone’s ongoing efforts to strengthen and extend the biochemical industry chain around its pillar industries, with the goal of building a biochemical industrial park valued at over RMB 10 billion. These initiatives will undoubtedly inject strong momentum into the high-quality economic development of both the Economic Development Zone and the entire city.

Xin Feng, a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Head of the Organization Department, Vice Mayor Chen Xiaodong, and Vice Mayor and Director of the Public Security Bureau Liu Zhiqiang attended the signing ceremony.
