Jiangsu Aogu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in 2008 and is headquartered in Liyang, Jiangsu Province. The company primarily engages in the research and development of bioenzyme preparations and the production of functional sugars via bioenzymatic processes, which serve as food ingredients or additives to replace white sugar in low-sugar and sugar-free food and beverage products. Additionally, the company utilizes synthetic biotechnology to produce feed-grade amino acids, pharmaceutical-grade amino acids, nucleotides, and other related products, which are used as pharmaceutical raw materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, nutritional supplements, and animal nutrition additives.
Currently, the company has established five major production bases in Liyang, Jiangsu Province, and Songyuan, Jilin Province, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tonnes of trehalose and formulated sugar blends, 20,000 tonnes of complex sugars, 8,000 tonnes of β-cyclodextrin, and 10,000 tonnes of polydextrose; 20,000 tonnes of feed-grade amino acids; 300 tonnes of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), glutathione, and gamma-aminobutyric acid; and 1,500 tonnes of pharmaceutical-grade amino acids.

On April 3, Fuzhen City held a citywide kickoff meeting for the commencement of its key projects for 2024, along with the groundbreaking ceremony for the Fuzhen 500,000-ton trehalose and 500,000-ton blended-sugar industrial park project. This event marks the official launch of Fuzhen City’s 2024 key-project construction initiative, which is expected to spark a new wave of project development and usher in a new chapter of high-quality project implementation in our city.
